Southwest recently announced they will be flying into La Guardia in NYC shortly. This is one of the first forays for this airline into NYC and will likely be a big hit. Where ever SWA flies airline ticket prices tend to drop as competition heats up.
Checking on Southwest’s website we saw a rate of $179 from Dallas Love Field to La Guardia, which is a great deal. The only draw back is it is not non stop, having 2 layovers. But if you are not in a rush to get there then the price can’t be beat. Southwest will start flying there on June 28th.

In some cases these deals are half of what these flights cost a few years ago. And the crazy thing is these are only 2 week ahead bookings.   So don’t waste anytime, book your flights now while they are at rock bottom prices becuase you can be sure they will go back up as the economy rebounds and people begin to travel again.
